Meeting Minutes for
Wednesday, January 9, 2008
Members in attendance: Chairman: David A. Martin (DM), Shirley A. Schofield (SS),

Meeting began at 7:30 pm
1.) Unitarian Church
· Member of the church and their architect were on hand to present the first pass of the plans for the new addition to the building.
· The purpose of this addition is to provide handicap accessibility, and more functional use of interior space for their various programs.
· Preliminary discussions have taken place with the building inspector to get his input.
· The next step will be to set up a meeting with the ZBA
· The intent is to keep the SHC informed as the development of this project moves forward.
2.) Congregational Church
· As a follow up to our last meeting regarding the proposed replacement of the windows in the Parish Hall portion of the church a letter was written and sent by G. Hughes of the SHC to Mr. Phil Buhler. As of this meeting there has been no response.
2.) 432 Moose Hill Street
· D.M. and S.S. walked the site with Pat Amerol of the Kendall Foundation. They were able to see both the house and barn structures.
· The plan is that the house will be demolished and that the barn would be saved and moved to another location on the property.
· Both buildings were constructed around 1890, their condition is good
· There is a possibility that the SHC will be able to meet with both the Kendall and the Preservation Trust representatives to discuss their plans.
3.) 111 Pond Street
· Open discussion
· No major status changes

4.) Inventory Grant Project
· Per S.R. it was mentioned that Julie was planning to attend our next scheduled meeting on 1/15/08
